Description

The Carenuity SQ-Power module is designed for the safe and permanently installed power supply of the Carenuity SQ-Panel when wall-mounted. It connects directly to the 230 V AC mains (L and N) and is installed into a standard flush-mounted or cavity wall box (e.g. Ø 68 mm according to DIN 49073) – just like a light switch or power outlet.

It is ideal for all permanent installations, where a clean, integrated power solution and a professional appearance are required – for example in care facilities, hospitals, modern offices or smart home environments.

Safety & Standards

The SQ-Power module meets the highest safety standards for building electrical installations:

  • EN 60669-2-5 (Electrical switches for household and similar applications)
  • Installation Category III (suitable for fixed installations)

  • Concealed cable routing – no visible wiring or connectors
  • Slim, durable housing – suitable for professional installations
  • Dedicated 5 V DC output for powering the SQ-Panel

Technical Specifications:

  • Input: 230 V AC (L + N, direct wiring via screw terminals)
  • Output: 5 V DC (specifically for SQ-Panel)
  • Max. Power: 5 W

Safety Notice:

Connection to 230 V mains must be performed only by qualified electricians.
Installation must comply with local regulations (e.g. VDE).
Improper installation can result in electric shock or serious damage.

Typical Use Cases:

  • Care homes & medical rooms
